I gathered information about paraplegia and researched toys designed for paraplegic children, as well as wheelchairs; bicycles; conventional tricycles and those designed for paraplegics. During my on-the-job training at the Independent Life Center (CVI - Centro de Vida Independente) in Rio de Janeiro, I followed the work of physiotherapist Sheila Bastos Salgado and industrial designer Renata Mattos Eyer de Araujo, working with physically disabled children.
